
Click the above menu button to add Customer and/or Vehicle notes to any customer Profile.
The number of characters for a customer/vehicle is 1400 characters.Â
Mark a note as public or private using by selecting the correlating radio button.
This function is only available for Showroom users (Type 2 and 3).
By default, Public is selected.Â
Private notes are only visible to the user who created the note and this can be where a Salesperson enters important notes about the customer.
Vehicle notes are related to the selected VIN.
Notes do not push over to DMS on integrated stores.
Notes tab
Notes are visible on the Notes tab, and on the tab header, a blue information orb is visible when notes exist.Â
Right click functionality to edit a note for both Private/Public settings. This is only an option for the author of the note.Â
Any user who has access to the Notes tab can right click on the Note to delete the record, or click the "X" beside the record to delete.Â
