Q: A lot of dealerships have thousands of opcodes they do not use anymore. Is there a way in DealerMine to remove these opcodes from the list in the book appointment screen?
A: An Opcode can not be deleted but you can go into Maintenance Configuration>OpCode Utilization and here you are able to make an Opcode Active by placing a check in the Active checkbox or Inactive by unchecking the Active check box. You are also able to Edit and Add Opcodes as well.
Q: In the past, we used to be able to search for a partial OP code when booking an appointment. At some point that option was taken away. Can we get it back? I am on a GM dealership and with all the recalls out there, my dealership gives them all individual OP codes and depending on who sets it up will depend on if the recall number is in the description or not, therefore making it time consuming to find or almost impossible.
A: When booking your appointment after hitting "Add Line" if you type in the beginning or partial opcode in the "Opcode" box then click either "Starts With" or "Contains" to help with the search, then click the magnifying glass DealerMine will return all opcodes related to the partial opcode you have entered. You will then need to click on the "Operation Code" drop down to select the specific opcode you are looking to use. If you are unable to do this, I would log a case with Tech Support because this may be a bug. If you have any questions let me know!
