When an employee is added in User Setup, the Employee Name can now be changed. Click the Edit Name command button next to the Employee Name drop down. Presented is the Alias Name popup; key in the Alias Name, and click Save. The name now displayed on the Employee Name drop down is the saved Alias Name. If it's required to change the name back to the original name, click the Edit Name command button once again, and click the radio button Use Original Name. Click Save. The Alias Name is displayed in Contact History, Book Appointment and Reports.Â
eService has more skins to select from. Click Administration->eService Configuration->Options, and select the Skins drop down to view all the added colours. Â
FMPP - Product Plan: users have the ability to import Product Plans from Fetch Imports. If a VIN on a customer's file matches a VIN imported from the Product Plan, a blue Product Plan indicator button appears in the bottom left of the Profile screen. If the Product Plan button is clicked, the popup shows all the product plans associated to that VIN: i.e. it displays expired if the expiry date has passed.Â
List View on the Appointment Schedule now displays column Book For. This column populates with the name of the Advisor that the appointment is booked for. Â
Displayed along the bottom of the Profile screen is the DealerMine Status. It displays when the last successful download has run. This will help our Appointment Coordinators transitioning to the new DealerMine.Â
Add Customer button has been removed. To add a Customer or Prospect, click the Search button. Presented is the Search View screen, and in the upper right-hand corner of the screen is an icon of a person. Click the icon to Add Prospect or Add Customer. Â This change is to encourage all users to first search the entire database before adding new customers.
Merge - When merging customer files from the Search screen you will now be required to select a relationship from the drop down list of choices. This coincides with the merging functionality that exists on the customer information screen on the Profile.
Appointment Schedule - Exceptions/Vacations for Technicians and Advisors have now been added to the Appointment Schedule's Settings button. From the Administration screen, if a user updates a Technician's or Advisor's Exceptions/Vacations, the Tech/Advisor Schedule displayed (by clicking on the Settings button on the Appointment Schedule) displays the Hrs Off. It also displays the reason for the time off. I.e. vacation, sick etc.Â
Profile:
From the Vehicle Information screen, some users were noticing VINs displaying multiple times with no associated call on the vehicle. This issue has been resolved.
Reynolds Issue - Customer and company names were missing on profiles. This was a download issue, and it has been resolved.Â
Some users noticed Appointment History was showing Date in the format of MM/DD/YYYY, but Service History was showing as DD/MM/YYYY. For consistency, this issue has been resolved.
Appointment History was displaying the date as M/D/YEAR but Service History is showing it as D/M/YEAR. This issue has been resolved. Â
Appointment Schedule/Booking:
When booking appointments the "Booked for Advisor" changes when selecting the calender date to "Any Advisor". This is only for booking appointments. No issue when updating an appointment. Appears to be happening with all dealerships. I have tested on 1242pion and 1286fhon as well.
Marking a specific day/skill full, it was showing AST time, not the users correct time, this issue has been resolved.Â
DealerMine language push to ADP - when using DealerMine, it pushed successfully with English; however, when attempting to Update the customer information within ADP, it doesn't accept English; it requires the initialization EN. This issue has been resolved for languages: English, French and Spanish.
Customers were being prompted for 2nd level confirms too early: for example: a customer was presented for a confirmation every day, and the appointment wasn't due until December. The reason for the issue: an appointment was pre-booked for a customer, and from the time the appointment was booked to the time the appointment was due for a call, the ownership of the vehicle had changed. This issue has been resolved.
From the Appointment Schedule, users were noticing if an appointment was clicked the maintenances scheduled for the appointment weren't highlighting on the right hand side of the screen on the Operations tab. And, users also noticed selecting a maintenance from the Operations' tab, the customers that were scheduled for the selected maintenance, were not highlighting with a dashed-bolded outline. This issue has been resolved, and was attributed to aÂ
speed factor.Â
On the Book Appointment form, the Book for Advisor drop down wasn't showing the user's name as a selection. This issue has been resolved, but note: the name displayed in the drop down is the name that the user is linked to under the Administration screen for UserInfo: i.e. the name displayed on the Employee Name drop down. To edit this name, see Enhancement 1 regarding Alias Name.Â
Email:Â
When replying or forwarding an email, DealerMine would sometimes freeze. This issue has been resolved.
Delete and Rename Folder functions were not working properly. This issue has been resolved.
Reports:
Service Maintenance Labour Sales Performance Report, RO's were doubling due to a data issue. This issue has been resolved.Â
Key Report->Service Maintenance Labour Sales Performance Report was down and Key Report -> BDC Performance Report -> Inbound Outbound Combined -> Performance Report was displaying incorrect totals. These data issues have been resolved.
Administration:
eService Configuration - Options:Â users were unable to reduce the number of slots available to avoid over booking in DealerMine; this issue has been fixed. The user can now select "Reduce Number available by ___ to avoid over Booking", and the schedule in eService will reflect the change by reducing time availability.
Traffic Log - We have added the icons found in the Vehicle Inventory screen to each Traffic Log entry. I.e. Watchlist, Saved Searches and Trades. This will clearly indicate how many vehicle interests/trades each customer has at a glance.Â
Some users reported an error they were receiving on the Traffic Log. Â Traffic Log->All Guest-> Calendar Filter, an error was presented "Error Getting Event Log Information". This issue was due to a patch that went on on Friday, October 18. This issue was resolved Monday, October 21.
