Portfolio Protection - This feature is "active" by default for all dealerships using the Showroom application. Check the box to "inactivate" the feature, if you're dealership is not interested in utilizing this portion of Portfolio Management.
This feature is designed to safeguard a Salesperson's Portfolio of customers if the contact requirements are being met that are set. Salespeople will have to maintain regular communication with their customer within the specified time frame in order to keep their customers in the Safety Zone of their Portfolio; otherwise customers will fall in the "On Thin Ice" zone, and then if neglected completely will fall into the "Open Pool" where they are visible to all Salespeople. From this point if other Salespeople dip into the opportunities that exist within the Open Pool and make contact with any of these potential buyers, these customers will shift over into the Working Pool.

Safety Zone - customers being contacted by the Salesperson on a regular basis, based on the parameters in Portfolio Protection

On Thin Ice - customers that have only seven more days until they will fall into the Open Pool since they have not been contacted in quite some time, based on the parameters in Portfolio Protection

Open Pool - customers that were neglected, meaning not contacted within the parameters set in Portfolio Protection. These customers are now visible to all Salespeople to contact.

Working Pool - The working pool is filter that will contain all customers currently being worked on, in hopes of closing a sales deal where the contact originated from a customer found in the Open Pool. The same customer could exist in more than one Salesperson's Working Pool if more than one Salesperson is working a deal for a customer that originated from the Open Pool.Â
*The Working Pool may also contain prospects that do not have an assigned or active Salesperson.
Note:
The feature is set to "active" by default for all dealerships using the parameters are set at 99 years for both Unsold Customers and Sold Customers.
When set to "inactive" the zones, icons, Open Pool and Working Pool will not be visible in the Portfolio.
