Enhancements
Profile:
Raise Issue - from the Profile screen, when a user clicks the indicator for an issue, the Customer Issue window presents with a new function: Add Note. If the user adds a note, the note with the user name and date are displayed under the Issue Detail. This was implemented so the user can track the date of any notes added regarding the issue and differentiate between notes added and the original Issue Note.Â
Customer Information - To the left of Save, is the Verified Info button, when this button is clicked, the Last Verification date updates which is displayed above the button "Last Verification by Username on Friday, December 13, 2013". The purpose of updating the verification information is to display the last time the customer's contact information was verified; therefore, the Appointment Coordinator doesn't have to ask the customer to verify their information every time they call (which can be a couple of times a week). This information is also displayed under the Twitter symbol on the Profile screen.
Reports:Â
Two reports have been added: Reports->Service->Appointment Lists->Appointment Schedule Detail and Appointment List. The reports were added to give the users similar reports to the printed format of the Appointment Schedule in Old DealerMine.
Service->Service BDC->Customers Turned Off And Recently In: for this report, customers were requesting a way to exclude certain recycle types. So, instead of excluding, we thought it would be helpful to group by Reason Codes on the left hand menu. This is now in Prodocution.Â
Users-> Dealermine User Log: modified the User Log report to reflect New DealerMine. It counts how many times each user has logged into the old app and how many times they have logged into the new app. Also, it shows from which device they logged in on.Â
Service/Showroom:
A Customer Profile with Purchase History displays the current Salesperson and last activity date under the Twitter symbol. A Prospect Customer Profile (-4 number) displays who entered the Prospect, and the last activity date. This is helpful for users to know who the current Salesperson is at a glance.
Appointment Schedule:
A popup is now presented when users cannot edit an appointment when there is no customer number. Typically, appointments without a custno are booked in the DMS where a custno is not required.Â
Resolutions
Administration
Store Setup-
Store Access -> Users were reporting that for Stores and Branches that they did not have access to were visible from the Appointment Schedule, and their default store was not defaulting on the Appointment Schedule. This issue has been resolved.Â
Profile Screen
Add New Vehicle - when trying to add a vehicle to a customer file, some users were getting an error "Model abbreviation is required" regardless of a model being selected from the drop down. The error was due to the DMS giving a value for model but it did not accept that value. The issue has been resolved.
Appointment Schedule
When on a customer profile and then going to the appointment schedule, the book appointment form was displaying the correct store/branch, but if the Appointment Coordinator inquired on another customer from a different store, the Book Appointment Form displayed the wrong store/branch. This issue has been resolved.
Reports
Fetch ROI -> When a user runs a campaign and an action is performed for the customers on that campaign (i.e. an appointment is booked and the customer is recycled), the pie charts now populate on the reports for the Fetch Campaign Results.Â
Some Dealerships stated that the Maintenance contacts were too low for their stores. The issue was due to if a customer was never in before Call Selection was being based on last visits: 3 months ago. The low contact issue has been resolved by changing the elapsed months for records with no history to be based on the trigger specs, so if the customer has never been in before, the system will set the elapsed months to 4, and if the star trigger is 4 set to 6, and if it is 6 set to etc.Â
Showroom
If needed Administrators can hide the pricing/term/payment and all features from the inventory list for all salespeople. To do this, go to the Administration screen->User Setup->User Defaults->DealerMine Access.Â
