When a VIN on a customer's file is attached to a Safety Recall, DealerMine will display a "Recall" indicator button on the Profile screen at the bottom left, this will indicate to the user that the selected VIN may have a Safety Recall.
When the user clicks on the Recall indicator a "Open Recalls" screen will open displaying all the Recalls attached to the selected VIN. This Screen will display the customer's name, VIN number, Year, Make, Model, Motor Size if available and Trim if available. The Recall Details section will list all Open Recalls for the selected VIN and will display the Recall number, Make, Year, and Model of the VIN also with the Name of the Recall. The use will have 3 radio buttons to select from "Done Elsewhere", "Done Here" and "Not Applicable".
After looking up the Recall using the Recall system link that would be provided by your Dealership, the user would select the proper radio button and then Close the Recall. After the Recall is closed the "Recall" indication will no longer display on the Profile screen.
