To add, copy or delete a Maintenance Schedule, select the Schedule's tab.Â
From the upper left hand corner drop down, select the Store/Branch.
To add, select the Maintenance Schedule Options drop down and select Add Maintenance Schedule: Â
Presented on the screen is the Add Maintenance Schedule popup; enter the Schedule Name here:
The Schedule Name populates the correlating text box. Note: the name can be updated and changed from here:Â
Enter the Min and Max Years for the vehicles associated with this schedule
Optional: If trigger specs for the makes and models the maintenance schedule is being created for are different from the trigger specs set by the store, to overwrite those trigger specs, enter the trigger months here.
Optional: There can be instances where certain makes and models require more than one maintenance schedule; i.e. the schedule could change with the age of the car or with the accumulated mileage. To set an expiry for a schedule being created, enter the mileage that the schedule will expire on, and then select the next schedule that the makes and models will follow. Note: more than one schedule needs to be set up for the makes and models following this process.Â
Optional: There are instances where maintenance schedules are customized per certain characters in the VIN. For example, (for some Makes and Models' Diesel Trucks) there's specific schedules, and the 8th character in the VIN is specific to diesel trucks. To create one of these schedules, click VIN specifications. The SerNo window is presented on the screen.
Input the serial number or parts of the serial number in the boxes
Click Add to List. The characters populate the selection box below.
To clear the entered characters, click Clear. The box is empty and a new combination can be entered.
To edit a previously entered VIN, click the VIN in the selection box below. The characters populate the boxes above. Edit the VIN and click Update.Â
To delete a combination, select the VIN and click Delete.Â
Once work is complete, click Save. The popup clears the screen.
Note: As many combinations as required for the schedule can be entered.Â
7. Select the Makes, Models and Driveline that pertain to the Schedule. Note: If nothing is checked off for Makes, Models and Driveline, the schedule will become a catch all, and it will ensure that contacts are made to customers with off makes.Â
To edit a Maintenance Schedule name, select the Maintenance Schedule. The Maintenance Schedule Name populates the correlating text box. Edit the name from here and click Save.Â
If there's a Schedule that has similar features to a new Maintenance Schedule that a Dealership requires, use the copy feature located under the Options button.Â
Select the Maintenance Schedule required for copying
Click Copy
Enter the new nameÂ
You now have a new schedule with the same information as the one copied; i.e. same schedule and intervals.Â
To delete a Maintenance Schedule, select the Maintenance Schedule. From the Options drop down, select delete. Presented on the screen is the Delete popup. Select Yes to delete or No to cancel.Â
