For each call type selected in the “Contacts Selections Grid,” there will be a different sort option to use, although some Call Types do not have a sort option. The following are the sort options: “By RO Date Newest to Oldest” – Use this option to contact your most recent customers. This is a good option to utilize in order to keep the shop busy, but not a good option if your goal is to ensure that every one of your customers is contacted. This option should be used in conjunction with another option called the “BY RO Date Oldest to Newest” option, when you have more than one User. Using these two options combined will ensure that you keep your shop loaded and prevent your older customers from falling outside the trigger specifications.
"By RO Date Newest to Oldest" - This is the default sort which will give you the customers who are nearest the starting point of your Trigger Specifications, I.e. 3-18 months. You will see the customers who were in most recently for service and are due again now.
"By RO Date Oldest to Newest" - This will give you the customers who are at the bottom of your contact list based on the end parameters of the Trigger Specifications. I.e. 18 months.
“By Recycle Oldest to Newest” – This is the original DealerMine sort option. This option ensures that each and every one of your customers is contacted. It will prevent your customers from falling out of the trigger specs and you won’t have to worry thinking that customers are not getting contacted. Here is an example of how this sort option works. Let’s assume that today is December 31st and three months ago we spoke with a customer and recycled them for 3 months. The next contact for this customer would be December 31st. However, if you recycled another customer last week on December 14th as busy, which has one day recycle code, then it would be due to be contacted again on December 15th. Looking further at this particular pair of examples, the one that was recycled 3 months ago has a contact date of December 31st, while the one that was recycled more recently has a contact date of December 15th. Therefore the oldest recycle to date is the call from last week, and therefore it will be first on the list.
“By Star Rating Highest to Lowest” – This is DealerMine’s newest sort option, and it will sort the customers based on their personal star rating. The top customers will be at the top of the list. Use this feature when your shop is not fully booked for tomorrow and you are running out of time to fill it. Because the highest ranked customers are on top, they will typically be an easier outbound booking and will more than likely come in when you advise them to, therefore making it easier to fill your shop. On the other hand, if your shop is very busy, and you are booking several days or even weeks out, use the “By Star Rating Lowest to Highest” option. With your shop already swamped, using this sort feature will provide you with customers with low rankings. Rather than speaking with your customers to get them in the shop, you will be building a relationship with them in order to increase their rank.
