We have sent out an emergency release with the following resolutions:
1. Editing and Deleting Email Addresses
We have modified the way in which email addresses are removed from DealerMine to ensure they are also being removed in the DMS. Now when entering the Customer Screen if there is an email on file it will appear greyed out. You cannot modify the text unless you click the Edit icon, followed by clicking the green check when finished. If you would like to remove the email address click the red x and this will remove the email both from DealerMine and the DMS system.
Prior to this some customers were backspacing the email address to remove it, followed by Saving. This was temporarily removing the email address from DealerMine only until the next nightly download pulled over the email from the DMS and it displayed in DealerMine. Now there is only one way to simultaneously remove an email address from DealerMine and the DMS.
2. Book Appointment Form
For non-integrated stores, if a user selected an appointment from the Appointment Schedule and right clicked to View Details, when the Appointment Form presented, the user thought they could update or delete due to the Update and Delete command buttons being in view. These command buttons are no longer options for the user; the form is view only for non-integrated stores.
The Appointment time dropdown wasn't populating until the user clicked on a date to refresh. This issue has been resolved.
When attempting to book an appointment, the date was showing 01/01/0001. This issue has been resolved.
There were issues with booking a second appointment for customer if they already had an open appointment. This issue has been resolved.Â
3. VIN Decode
For some dealerships there was an issue with VIN decode not displaying the correct Make and Model (this was more of an issue with Volkswagen dealerships). To resolve this issue, when the user clicks the Add Vehicle button, DealerMine now displays a check box Use Normal Decode at the bottom of the Vehicle Popup. This check box is checked by default, and if the user notices that the Make and Model are incorrect, the user will uncheck the box and hit Search once again, and the correct Make and Model will be returned.Â
4. Showroom Inventory Screen
The color drop down was not displaying any selections to filter by. This has been resolved and all colors should be visible to filter by in Inventory.
