This feature was built when we had signed on a new Customer that had one large database in the DMS, but they had 3 store locations all in different cities. They needed to be able to contact their customers based on city location, so that each dealer could diminish any confusion that could arise for their users, due to the database being lumped together in the DMS. This Target Cities drop down box with the ability to select boxes representing each city was built to solve this problem. Since creating this feature, we now have customers using this feature in many other ways. For example, you may have a valet service which you specifically target to an area and book your shop based upon on that. This is especially good for high end dealerships that want to deliver an “experience” to their clients.
