Q: When should you use the By Star Rating Highest to Lowest Sort Option?
A: The By Star Rating Highest to Lowest Sort Option: This sort option will sort the customers based on their personal star rating. The customers with the highest Star Rating will be presented first on your outbound contact list. This a great Sort Option to use when your shop is not fully booked for tomorrow and you are running out of time to fill it. It can also be used in conjunction with the Target Options to identify your highest rated customers who also are in need of the services your shop require to run at maximum capacity.Because the highest rated customers are presented to you first, they may be more likely to come in when you advise them to, therefore making it easier to fill your shop. On the other hand, if your shop is very busy, and you are booking several days or even weeks out, use the “By Star Rating Lowest to Highest” With your shop already swamped, using this sort feature will provide you with the customers with the lowest Star Ratings. Rather than speaking with your customers to get them in the shop, you will be building a relationship with them in order to win back their business. To Learn more about the Star Rating please view this conversation:https://console.getsatisfaction.com/dealermine/conversations/what-is-the-calucation-for-the-star-rating and to learn more about the Trigger Specs please view:

Q: What is the calculation for the star rating and is it possible to change in DealerMine?
A: You can find the details of how the Star Rating is calculated in DealerMine’s Knowledge Base, here is the link; https://sites.google.com/a/dealermineservice.com/documentation/service/profile-screen/customer-information/star-system/star-rating. Also, the calculation is hard coded into the DealerMine application and is standard for all dealerships. At this point in time it is not something that can be customized. If you would like to see that as an option I would recommend submitting a feature request to DealerMine’s support team.
Q: Where are the area's in DealerMine where I can see the turn off information associated with a customers profile?
There are a few areas in DealerMine where the user can know at a glance if a customier is turned off:
- If a customer file is flagged as Inactive a large diagonal red Inactive will be placed across the customer information on the profile screen
- If a VIN is marked as Sold/Traded a car in a circle with a line through it will appear beside the VIN in the vehicle information bar. ·
-If customer specific contact methods are turned off red X’s will appear where the green check marks were along side the customer’s contact information. Be careful when performing this type of turn off as it has an effect on the automated contacts.
- If VIN specific contact types are turned off a ! in a circle will appear next to the VIN in the Vehicle information box. When this icon is hovered over a list of what contact methods are turned on/off will appear with either X’s or checkmarks next to them.
