Why Link Guest to Prospect/Customer?
The option to Link Guest to Prospect/Customer would be beneficial if the person adding the Traffic knew the guest was a current customer and wanted to link them in advance, which would save the Salesperson time. The other reason would be if the Salesperson was adding their own Traffic they could do link the guest to a prospect/customer all in one step, since we would launch the search screen allowing them to either find an existing customer match or create a new prospect. This saves the Salesperson a step if they are responsible for adding their own Showroom Traffic.

Manage Up List
To use the Manage Up List feature you must first active the Up List Rotation.Â
To create an Up List Rotation, go to the Administrative Screen->Showroom Configuration->Up List Rotation. From the Showroom Configuration list box, click Up List Rotation and check Active (by activating, it also enables the Manage Up List function which is explained in more detail below). As the Guests walk-in or call-in, the Spotter/Sales Manager can now distribute the guests among the sales team based on the time that the Salesperson checked-in.Â
When the Salesperson arrives at the Dealership, the Spotter/Sales Manager needs to check-in the person. To check-in a Salesperson, from the Add Guest To Traffic Log menu button, click Manage Up List. A popup with a list of Salespeople is presented. Click the red X next to their name. The Salesperson's name now has a green check mark next to it as well as the time they checked-in. Whomever entered the Dealership first is pushed to the top of the Salesperson drop down.Â
Note:Â
If in the Administrative screen Showroom Configuration->Up List Rotation, the Unavailable Reasons are checked, if the Salesperson hasn't completed the tasks associated with the checked Unavailable Reason, the Salesperson's name remains in red with the time they checked in next to their name. When the Salesperson completes their tasks, then their name appear, at the bottom of the list, in Black font. Â
There is the ability to assign Ups to Sales Representatives regardless of their status: i.e. active or inactive (if inactive, the sales rep displays in red). If a Dealership opts to use the Up List and has the Past Due Followups and/or Pending Guests checked, and due to these restrictions a Salesperson becomes Unavailable, the user (spotter) can assign Ups to the unavailable sales person if the Allow Traffic Assignment when unavailable is checked. The sales person can be assigned Traffic regardless of their status.
